A note from the owner of m massage, Mariota Dunning:
One of 2013’s fundraising activities for the Euan Macdonald Centre was a ceilidh, held at Teviot in May. I went along, as I love a ceilidh and was happy to be supporting a good cause. When I was there, I found out more about MND and the work of the Euan Macdonald Centre. I was hugely inspired not only by Euan himself, but also by what I heard from the fundraisers and the scientists working at the Centre, researching MND and other neurodegenerative conditions.
So, I decided to do some fundraising myself. Walking over hot coals isn’t really my thing (if it’s yours, get in touch with Kerry at (firstname.lastname@example.org / 0131 650 9221); but massage is.
I’m the owner and therapist at m massage, Edinburgh, and currently do holistic (also know as Swedish) massage treatments. I’ve just started a diploma in remedial and sports massage; part of the coursework is to complete a 100 hour ‘treatment log’, in order to practice what we learn on the study weekends. In order to fulfill the 100 hours, I’m offering free massage sessions here at the m massage clinic. I am not charging for these sessions, but instead welcome donations to the Euan Macdonald Centre.
Massage really does make a difference! Find out more, and make appointments for holistic massage treatments at www.m-massage.co.uk.
I look forward to hearing from you!
