Scottish Motor Neurone Disease Audit, Research & Trials (SMART)
All adults diagnosed with MND in Scotland can join the SMART project. The purpose of SMART is to monitor the quality of care, treatment and outcomes for adults with MND, in order to improve the care and services that we provide.
Participation in the project may also provide the opportunity to take part in associated research projects and clinical trials. This is entirely optional and if you decide not to take part, it will not affect the quality of care that you receive.
