Football match scores support for Centre

Support for the Euan MacDonald Centre continues to grow. Lachlan Watson and Christopher Chittick, from Aberdeen, organised a Charity football match and raised £314.45. On top of that, they managed to get the companies they work for to match the donation - raising almost £1,000.

Christopher and Lachlan are Alumni of Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh. After graduating they both decided to move to Aberdeen to follow a career in the global Oil and Gas Industry. Both young men also share a keen enthusiasm for sports and as such decided to organise the 11-a-side Charity football match between their respective companies.

The match was played at the end of April at Sheddocksley Sport Centre and was a closely fought battle with Subsea7 narrowly losing to the Amec team 6-5. The work of the Euan MacDonald Centre is particularly close to Christopher's heart having lost three relatives diagnosed with MND.

A special vote of thanks is extended to both Subsea7 and Amec for kindly matching the funds raised by the players.
