Our huge thanks to the comedian Kevin Bridges, who last night raised an amazing £10K for The Robert Ferguson Paulley Memorial Fund for MND Research (at the Euan MacDonald Centre).
With Chris Hoy, Kevin battled his way through some difficult questions on “Celebrity Who Wants to be a Millionaire”, before playing it safe and walking away at £20K. Neither of them will ever forget how much water the average household uses in a year!*
Professor Siddharthan Chandran, Director of the Euan MacDonald Centre, said “Our heartfelt thanks from everyone at the Euan MacDonald Centre to Kevin Bridges for raising an amazing £10K for the Centre on “Celebrity Who Wants to be a Millionaire”. The money will go straight to our researchers, to fund world-class projects that aim to understand the causes of motor neurone disease and develop new treatments for this devastating disorder. It will make an enormous difference.”
