The Principal Investigators of the Euan MacDonald Centre recently got together in Edinburgh for a whole afternoon of research talks and discussions.
Each researcher was given just 5 minutes and 3 slides to summarise his/her work, resources and plans. It was very intense, but an excellent way for everyone to get a global overview of all Centre activity, from our human clinical studies to our work on fruit fly cell biology.
After the talks, we held discussions about future plans and strategies for the Centre.
It was a great afternoon that is sure will spark new collaborations and ideas across the many disciplines in the Euan MacDonald Centre.
