The Anne Rowling Regenerative Neurology Clinic

The Anne Rowling Regenerative Neurology Clinic will focus on patient-based studies to help find treatments that could slow the progression of MS and other progressive, incurable diseases such as Motor Neurone Disease, Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease and Huntington's disease. It was established in 2010 following a £10M donation from JK Rowling, author of the Harry Potter novels, and is named in memory of Ms Rowling's mother, who died from MS at the age of 45.

The Anne Rowling Regenerative Neurology Clinic will be located in a purpose-built facility alongside the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary and existing University biomedical research facilities. Clinical academics will work closely with researchers in the Euan MacDonald Centre for Motor Neurone Disease Research and other affiliated Centres.
