Applications are invited for a position starting immediately to study the molecular mechanisms underlying Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis using Drosphilia as a model system. The successful candidate will join Dr. Giusy Penneta at the Euan MacDonald Centre for Motor Neurone Disease Research and the Centre for Integrative Physiology at the University of Edinburgh. 

The post is funded by the Wellcome Trust for a two year period with a salary scale of £29,704 to £35,489. Closing date is 27th October 2010.
